OpenAI's Big Announcement Yesterday & How It Can Help You Prepare For Your LP Meetings
and a HUGE promo for our next AI Sales Training Course For GPs and Investor Relations Pros that lets you bring 2 team members at no charge!
Yesterday, OpenAI unveiled its latest artificial intelligence model, GPT-4o, which represents a big advancement in the capabilities of AI technologies.
If you want to see some pretty wild videos that demonstrate how the technology is used, take a look at these, from the OpenAI website. The one that really blew me away was the one where the two AIs speak to one another and sing together. This demo is pretty mind-blowing. [It’s really similar to this wild interview that my buddy Ben Relles made of Reid Hoffman interviewing his “digital twin” (an AI copy of of himself!). It truly has to be seen to be believed.]
GPT-4o enhances the user experience by supporting interactions through text, voice, and vision, making it more intuitive and accessible. This model also introduces memory capabilities, allowing it to learn from past interactions and perform real-time translations.
How To Use It
To access the new GPT-4 Turbo as a paid ChatGPT user, you need to be subscribed to ChatGPT Plus, OpenAI's subscription service. I’m noticing that their systems are experiencing pretty heavy loads this morning.
GPT-4 Turbo’s been made available to paid ChatGPT users, indicating that subscribers can access this enhanced version without needing to wait for additional time beyond their subscription activation. As a paid ChatGPT Plus user, you can use GPT-4 Turbo today, provided you have the latest version of the ChatGPT app installed on your iOS or Android device. There is no additional waiting period beyond the subscription activation for accessing GPT-4 Turbo.
Applications of GPT-4o for General Practitioners (GPs) and Investor Relations Professionals
1. Enhanced Communication with Investors
- For GPs: GPT-4 Turbo lets you develop more personalized communication tools that understand and remember individual investor histories and preferences. This improves the quality of LP meetings and follow-up interactions. It lets you ensure that each communication is tailored to the specific needs and interests of the LP.
- For Investor Relations Professionals: Similarly, the model can assist in tailoring communications based on previous interactions with investors. By remembering past interactions and preferences, GPT-4 Turbo can help ensure that each message is aligns with the investor’s interests and past preferences. This enhances engagement and trust. This capability is crucial for maintaining strong, ongoing relationships with investors and can lead to more effective investor relations strategies.
2. Real-Time Data Processing and Analysis
- For GPs: GPT-4 Turbo can do real-time analysis of investment data, like market trends or portfolio performance, which gives GPs immediate insights and recs. This can help give you quick decision-making and more strategic investment planning.
- For Investor Relations Professionals: This tech can be utilized to analyze financial reports, market data, and investor feedback instantaneously. This capability allows for the preparation of up-to-date, data-driven presentations and reports for meetings with limited partners (LPs).
3. Automated Admin Tasks
- For GPs: Automating admin tasks like deal tracking, doc management, and compliance reporting can save time and reduce errors. GPT-4 Turbo can handle these tasks efficiently, letting GPs to focus more on strategic decision-making and investor relations.
- For Investor Relations Professionals: GPT-4 Turbo automates the preparation of investor updates, meeting scheduling, and tracking of investor interactions, which are crucial for maintaining effective relationships and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
