The Real Reason Soham Parekh Disappeared
Forty jobs, zero shipped products, one gold lamé background. Silicon Valley’s most notorious multi-employee is back, and he’s bringing merch.
For a year, tech Twitter’s been haunted by one question: Where did Soham - the only man to hold four jobs at once without shipping a single product - vanish to?
Thanks to a PSA from Sohail, the mystery was solved:
“There’s a guy named Soham Parekh (in India) who works at 3-4 startups at the same time. He’s been preying on YC companies. I fired this guy in his first week… He hasn’t stopped a year later.”
Turns out, Soham wasn’t hiding. He was in the studio.
Dropping the year’s most ambitious release:
“50,000,000 Startups Can’t Be Wrong: Soham Parekh’s Greatest Hits.”
The album cover? Soham in 40 startup hoodies, gold background, thousand-yard Slack stare.
Industry Reactions:
“He’s the DJ Shadow of LinkedIn. Nobody’s sampled more job titles.”
- DJ Shadow“I thought my sister was the king of collabs—then I saw Soham’s resume.”
- Finneas O’Connell (Billie Eilish’s producer)“If I made ‘Everything I Wanted,’ Soham made ‘Every Job I Wanted.’”
- Billie Eilish“Never seen a man get soft-blocked from so many company Notions and keep coming back.”
- a16z scout
One anonymous YC founder called it “the greatest hustle since Theranos, but with better merch.”
What’s next? Rumors swirl of a multi-city tour:
One WeWork. Forty badges. Infinite calendar invites.
Until then, Soham’s not onboarding- he’s headlining.
Editor’s note: Yes, this is a parody. All job titles, hoodie counts, and celebrity quotes are (probably) fictional.
